Josh Gordon

Josh GordonUPDATE March 5, 2012:  Josh is doing pre-production work for his first solo album!!  He'll also soon be in the studio with The Blazers to record their second album.  Stay tuned for more info!

“Love your songs and your guitar playing is da bomb!” says JUNO Award Winner Jack de Keyzer about Toronto based guitarist Josh Gordon.

In his 18 plus years of playing professionally across Southern Ontario, Josh has mixed anything from hard rock to jazz to country and R&B into his blues based guitar style.  He is currently burning up stages with The Frank Cosentino Band and the up and coming blues-rock band The Blazers.

Over the last 10 years, Josh has played many festivals across Ontario and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with numerous talented musicians such as Jack de Keyzer, Al Lerman of Fathead, Gary Kendall and Michael Fonfara from The Downchild Blues Band, Travis Colby from Roomful of Blues, Gary Storin from The Stampeders, and James Gray from Blue Rodeo, to name but a few. He has also opened shows for Jeff Healey & the Jazz Wizards, Fathead, and Canadian icon David Wilcox.

Josh discovered Mack Amps through his bandleader Frank Cosentino. AfterMEAs/Josh_Gordon_June2010.jpg checking out audio and video samples on the Mack site, Josh immediately contacted Don Mackrill to obtain a Mack Amp of his own.  Impressed by the beautiful tonal qualities of the Heatseeker HS-18 head, Josh knew he found the amp he’s been searching for his entire playing career. Adding a Mack 1 x 12 closed back cabinet to the HS-18, Josh feels his new tonal palette will take him to new sonic heights.

Josh looks forward to a long association with Mack Amps. For more information about Josh, please visit www.joshgordonmusic.ca
